jr, sel, and mandy at the back of our cab..our nice driver ross fetched us to central festival in phuket..dam highclass like their paragon lydat..shopped till they dropped..and on our way to the airport to bangkok!!! 

chilling in our apartment again..pictures may be deceiving..that's a kingsized bed we're lying on..had 2 aircon bedrooms upstairs, downstairs living room plus kitchenette!! woohooo totally chalet-like man.

just before we went down to snorkel...nice cool waters, pretty clear, lots and lots of fishes around!! coudnt catch them man..they were too agile and nimble for us..

yeahhh just touched down not too long ago from bangkok! admidst some delays and hiccups..we finally got back safe and sound..and tired and sleepy..

think we went for too long..but nevertheless a pretty good trip, from wakeboarding and snorkelling to getting cheated of $10 for my shades to posing like trannies to bangkok to chatuchak market to mbk to lodchong and hours and hours of nonstop bridge! it was a good getaway man.

really, thailand is seriously a land of smiles..people are really friendly..esp when it comes to touting..but they're polite and all, nothing like the pickpocketing that was rife as heard..and pretty much nice..and having great bargainS!!!

phuket's generally more expensive than bangkok..and mann..u can never guess that a tsunami hit them..they've got back so fast..everything's pretty much normal and nice..just price hikes alot..and the water got a little bit too salty for my liking..hmm..wonder wad went on man..

yeahh so we shopped and shopped.think rong and i bought more than 10tshirts each..haha..and some cute stuff lah..collectibles..chatuchak rocks man!! and yah, how can one forget about the thai girls there? simply ravishing.. and braces seem to be really hot too! the cutest girls wear braces...complete with their large, luscious almond eyes, cute round button nose and small pursed lips..esp the fair ones!

speaking of that, coming from phuket, really kana thot of as thais man..at least i didnt get as much hits as sel..she's darker than the thais hahaha..

haha..well..okay whatever it is..IT'S MY BIRTHDAY TODAY!! yes that's right..20th apr..

yupp finally touched down at phuket..wanted to post one pre trip post..but was at jirong's at it was rather late..and had to wake up at 4.30am to catch the plane!! wooHOoo so we spent the first day settling in, walking around, checking out the sights at patong beach..our driver's really nice and funny..but well, we actually wanted to try wakeboarding on the 2nd day.that's today..but in e end we fell into the persuasion trap by the thais haha..albeit a very unsucessful wakeboarding session cos the waters were so damned choppy!! okay at least we did water skiing after that cos the guy thot we were too hopeless..hahhaaa.. was quite fun!took some videos with amanda's camera hahah.. jirong and sel were the king and queen man..dam good..

so that was our tiring first day..we conked out at 10pm can u believe it!! haha..will load up some photos man..we booked a trip to raya island for some snorkelling and chilling out today..woohoOo dam shiok man swmming with all the fishes..yeah there were many! compared to last time, maybe not so many varieties..but the water was pretty crystal clear!! hahaa.. it was dam tiring lah, and we like got seasick cos the pple who went on the boat earlier had to wait there..and it just kept rocking and rocking..

kk eating at this nice happening RIO restaurant which is dam cosy and has a dam nice settting..abit like nydc but cosier cosit has sofas, free pool and internet and bars..and trannies of cos..ooOohh the hot waitress with the nice eyes and perfect english just told me sweetly my food is here..k anyway i think i gotta go..haha told them to order anything they want cos i'm gonna treat them..but they don't know yet!! heehee..

gonna go thai massage and watch sunrise tmr morning!! yeahh!! and fly off to bangkok for 3 days of shopping after that!! wooHooo

well, good news is.... WE WON!!! hahha first time man..and it was partly cos we had luck on our side and lotsa quality in the team today..hmm well..i think we could go a loong way..

and next,

bad news:

- strained my tibialis anterior while taking a freekick during warmup.

- strained it again when i practised taking a corner

- it kapoked when fred zammed me from the front..

and now i'm left with 2 blisterin' blisters which are now newly swollen and red, and plus a waddling gait thanks to my possibly-torn tibialis anterior..yeah dammned can't even walk properly can..

just somehow, the camaraderie and old jokes just keeps us together. like how when we were walking towards the loo to relieve ourselves and bumped into a couple quarrelling, but all 4 of us holding it in till the loo door closed, and burst out laughing all at the same time. hahaa..shit man that memory was simply funny...

alright, perhaps the 4 of us don't meet up together as often as we should, dun talk as much when we don't meet as well. but when we do, it's pure magic.

1) we never fail to piss people off and turn their misery into our joy. (but they're pure harmless fun)

2) we can never hang out together at the same time (except yesterday after 1 year)

3) somehow, when 3 of us are attached, there will be one single soul lurking around..and the vice versa holds true. when the 3 of us are single, he's happily attached.
