love at first sight

ahm!! counting down..exactly 1 week more to go..although ive become disinterested in attaining a personal best, ie, whatever timing it is it'll be..

anyway, went across this article in the sunday times today.. its titled 'love at first sight'.. discussing if it really does happen..of cos it does lah! dun be silly..and of cos in any relationship some sort of physical attraction has to exist right..otherwise it takes the fun out of it right!?

hmm well..strange thing is, out of the few articles..quite a number of doctors leh..exciting love stories ar..must pick up some tips man, see how they pick up the babes..anyway there's this interesting couple..gotta say his wife not bad quite chio..

but it seems that there's a certain cycle which every funky med student/doctor goes thru at some point...and this is what he has to share:

"I had a girlfriend once, but it ended after four years. i was diving, backpacking all over the world, watching soccer, getting drunk and, of course, working. i was 29 and a lowly medical officer. i wanted to be a bachelor for life."

at least the wife quite understanding lah, so sweet somemore..and he anyhow jio oso can get her..wahlao, he must be dam power..dun look very yandao somemore..

she: "he was a poor doctor then, still paying off his study loans, so he didnt take me anywhere nice. we ate at hawker centres and went on picnics"

wahlao, she's how sweet she..and according to him..she's quite well to do one..yet, so down to earth..doesnt act like a rich girl..but of cos he admits lah, it was her looks that made him fall for her..see..that proves my point.. sigh, wish there were more girls like her out there man.. but den again, a man's gotta have some kind of drive and ambition lah.. some pple(girls) may say that riches and material comfort don't matter if they truly love the person..but it does help in someway or another. face it lah dudes, u will feel bad oso right basket..can't even provide for ur own wife..
