but well, just look at how good the deals are in jb:

- 80cents sing bus ride to customs, very cheap.
- medicinal herb duck..supposedly dam famous..for 6 ringgit each at ya wang
- cab ride to holiday plaza 1 ringgit each
- dye + cut hair 40 ringgit!!
- MACDONALDS MILKSHAKE 1.5ringgit
- DINNER!!!!! TAMA SRIMAN DA MA HUA YUAN!!!!!! SEAFOOD GALORE!!! SAMBAL STINGRAY, BAK KUT TEH, SAMBAL SOTONG, CURRY WILD BOAR, SAMBAL KANGKONG, LA LA (CLAMS), MEDICINAL CHICKEN...wooohoooo!!

Best part was..i didnt even get to pay for it..

thanks to my beloved friends, who paid for dehan's and my share..to celebrate our birthdays..got a beautiful pair of fox boardshorts! really sweet those guys..will post up the photos once dehan has...yeahh! and me and dehan got sprayed upside down...ahhh wad to do without these friends of mine?

so it became sort of like 4 bday celebrations this year man..once with family, once with brudders, once in phuket and once in jb...woohooo...

today is jb day

last night was a whirlwind of planning for colin and i, met up at 9pm and den we discussed our plans all the way till the wee hours of the morning at 4am..and from our europe grandeur we've cut down to a anglo-parisan-roman trip..hahaha

our 1st ambitious blueprint:

from london - brussels - amsterdam - frankfurt - munich - switzerland - rome - milan - nice - lyon - paris - london. total europe grandeur mann...one big loop

finally into:

london - perhaps brussels + amsterdam - paris - nice - milan - venice - rome.

we've decided to go less places but stay longer..i think that's a greater plan..we're taking a huge risk taking into account that we'll be rich enough to go to places like switzerland, eastern europe and spain/portugal and greece in the near future. hahaaha. maybe not in the next 10 years for me..

oright man, off to jb in about 1.5hours..shit man. no cash.

well anyway zhuang mark and zhiyong are still toiling in laos..i realise i didnt link his blog to mine..anyway its at www.livejournal.com/users/kissmys i see he's having fun travelling..having met nontouting laos..which is a good thing..unfortunately had his hp stolen..but he's met some interesting pple along the way...i guess on a monotonous 7hr boat ride that's wad u've gotta do to entertain yourself huh..but brave man brother..u go on man..come back and share more stories.....happy ones please.

ri boys

so i here i was, linking one blog to another while surfing for coke memorabilia and thai fhm, and chanced upon this article on loh wee lee, my track senior in RI who just received an accolade from cornell for being one of the top 1% of his graduating cohort, and he chose to honour his secondary sch lit teacher for that..proud of him..it's amazing how many of my seniors have been so inspiring and really make it big, wherever they are. it's even more amazing when u suddenly realise that they've been running beside you for a couple of years, and now they are one of them up there. kevin siew, weelee, shiming..just a few of those who are oredi there..and i have no doubts one of them's gonna be a future prime minister..it'll be funny to think in the future that that man who makes all the country's decisions actually ran beside you, churning sweat and hot breath now your neck for some years back then..and u've experienced the best of their clowness..that's really ultimate man.

and then, there are the bad apples. a few days before weelee's achievements were published, chua cheng zhan was blasted for racist remarks on his blog..a former RI and HCJC boy, he went on a psc scholarship to study at northwestern..the sunday times published a 3/4 page article on that, complete with his self portrait..i knew him at RI as this dam shy and softspoken guy...and i know everybody has their own share of racism, some even racist against their own races..ahhaa..but den again, i think its just plain unlucky that he got caught for that..

ri boys just never cease to amaze.

europe!!

ahh just got up..woken up by colin's calls..he just checked out sta travel in school..looks like we may be going on thai airways after all, abandoning the cheaper qatar airways, gulf air and even british airways..

hmm..seems like some kind of a medicine ritual/tradition..where people often travel to europe in the 4 mths holidays..learn driving in the 1st year..giving tuition in m1 to earn more cash..i guess they more or less knows what's gonna happen in the next few years..we're not gonna have time to do anything other than mug..i guess that's inevitable..m1 was pretty much hell..panic button pressed during exams..in order to avoid undue stress we better ace our CAs..results coming out in a week!

okay, i need my europe itinerary.
