I just had to post up some fotos, snce i'm probably going back there again..just to enjoy the cheap food and booze...the one thing im dreading are the bus rides though...they are really hellish.

relook: hoi an - old town, my favourite city

just wanted to do some covers back on hoian cos nanzun reminded me that i didnt continue after nhatrang..so here it is..with my favourite kid at cua dai beach, dun be lazy be crazy, dun be angry be hungry! i was dam fit then.
as i mentioned..all their shophouses look nice and oldie on the outside..but a strong flavour of art deco, frenchcolonialism indochine touch..very nice very nice...
cua dai beach!! haven man...check out the LALA..its huge..and the bowl of sauce beside is heavenly..coupled with some pineapple fruit juice..yumm and of course, their calamari/sotong is irresistible!!

nhatrang's food, sights anD BOOZE...cheap german schnitzel and bratwurst at 7c restaurant with the owner...xichlo(cyclo) ride along tran phu of nhatrang..and cheap cheap booze a whole jam jar of housepours for just $4. at a very posh club too. with truly half jar full of BACARDI. no wonder i got owned at mama linh's boat trip the next day.

amazing scenes happening on the beach...seafood lady; jewllery girl dressed like a robber+ auntieselling huge prawn crackers; security guard in full force at the beach+ a very JIAO angmo with very JIAO hair tanning; and me who couldnt resist buying those crackers 

haha one of my favourite pics...chilling at nhatrang...mann dam cute lah the umbrellas...and the deck chairs..OOOH..complete with mattress as u can see behind me...and cheap cheap beer..and cheap cheap fruits...and cheap cheap SEAFOOD...and cheap cheap shopping coming our way...what with good books and jewellery stopping by our foot... 

us at the beach...if u can see...in the backgrd..the veitnamese actually go into the water in FULL PJs and STRAW HATS..wtf right....but its really popular with the locals...bottom right: playing football with the local boys against the backdrop of the sunset at the central highlands...and flying a kite with the locals..it was a blast with lovely fotos 

nhatrang!!! woooohooo spent like 3 nights there...beach haven ultimate...with our fellow travellers whom we met almost EVERYDAY along the trip ALL THRU VIETNAM...scott from aussie and stella frm msia...CAFE DE AMIS...hahaha..vietnam version...killer banana pancakes with CHOCOLATE SAUCE...all for $1 i think. jasper and his babe trying on some jewellery...she was really good! made everything herself...and of cos, frisbee in the water...shiok man! frisbee costs like $1 there as well 

NEXT STOP NHA TRANG!!!!!!!!! BEACH LOVERS HAVEN!!! where the hedonism never ends....from clockwise: view from the bus...looks alot like great ocean road!! windy roads hugging the spurs of the moutains, stunning view of the ocean and isles on the right...clear blue sea; seafood platter ala fishandco!! all for a cheap $10 sing each; OUR LOBSTER!! highlight for food man..dirt cheap oso $4 per kg..we got it cheaper; and sunrise view from our hotel room!!! nice bo...

next stop: dalat...hill station in the central highlands, cool temperate, somewhat like genting highlands...and everybody there were bundled up like it was winter..romantic place...lots of waterfalls too!

okay, i make the tunnel look spacious but its mother killer on the quadz i tell u, squatting and moving thru the tunnels..and it looks bright and thats cos of the flash...it isnt at all...totally pitch dark..plus dun ask me what i was trying to do

streets of HCMC a lively bustling crossroads of cars, and more motorcycles than pple u can see, horns not withstanding...lots of little bars popping up everywhere, cheap beer on sale at the roadside...not so much of parisian grace as i would expect..prob the grace of 30 years ago...but lively nontheless
